Darshni Nagaria

darshni-nagaria-photo-2Darshni has an MSc in Development Economics and works on policy research, political economy analysis and data and analytics across subjects which include financial resilience, global health and justice financing.

She is particularly interested in how gender intersects with development topics and throughout her studies at SOAS she focused on critically engaging with the euro-centric nature of the discipline, understanding the need for inclusive social protection systems and unpacking the relationship between financial inclusion and resilience. Her Masters dissertation focussed on understanding the socio-economic determinants of financial health in Kenya and she is currently focussing on understanding women’s entrepreneurship issues in the Asia Pacific region.
